About Us!

Interstitial Services began as an idea, owner, operator and founder, Patrick Béart had, to help people with their occasional needs. We all have them: Activities, tasks, or projects that only come up once in awhile. When those needs arise, we struggle with finding someone to help resolve them, or struggle to take the time to learn how to do those things ourselves.

The need for Interstitial Services exists because we live in a world that promotes and encourages specialization. People seem to focus on the details, and lose site of the "big picture". We hire people based upon this specialization model, and then often become frustrated when the "builder" doesn't communicate with the "landscaper", the "carpenter" doesn't communicate with the "electrician", and more often than not, everyone stays in the saftey of their sphere of influence. In the building industry, this necessitates the need for a "general contractor" to oversee all of the pieces of that process.

Wouldn't it be great if there were someone who could do all of these little things, and also be able to step into the role of "supervisor" to work with the "big picture" in mind? Someone who had the experience to see — and have at least basic knowledge of — all of the pieces, as well as having the ability to project into the future?? … This is what Interstitial Services does!
